New subtitle styles and multi-select drag improvements

Add new subtitle styles to your video and select multiple clips in your timeline to ensure a better editing experience in the preview player.

9.19.24

Today’s release introduces new subtitle styles to choose from and a few small quality of life updates to make editing a bit smoother.

Here’s a run down of everything that’s new today:

  1. New subtitle styles. We’ve added a “Stamp” and “Popup” subtitle along with the three existing preset subtitles.
  2. Multi-select clips and drag in coordination on preview player. When selecting multiple items from your timeline, you can now move the items in sync within your preview player.
  3. Improved selection of items on the preview player. Easily hover, click and drag one item that interferes with another item on your preview player.

New subtitle styles

Adding to our menu of preset subtitle styles, you can also now choose from the “Stamp” and “Popup” preset subtitle style. Both of the new preset subtitles have an animation and can always be adjusted within the properties settings panel.

Multi-select clips and drag in coordination

Now, you can move two items on your preview player at the same time. By holding down your shift key, either multi-select from your timeline or preview player and then drag the items together.

Improved selection of items on the preview player

Last and perhaps least, we made an enhancement for the scenario when you want to move one item, like a title, and it gets in the way of another item, the shape layer underneath. You now have the flexibility to move the item that remains underneath. Easily hover, click and drag.
